How the process works
Getting your processes and standard operating procedures out of people's heads and onto paper does not have to drain your team's time. Working remotely with businesses across New Zealand, and onsite where appropriate in Christchurch, Processology does the heavy lifting so you can focus on running your business.

Steps 1-2: Scoping and knowledge capture
The process starts with a concise scoping call to identify boundaries, ownership, and expected outcomes. Whether your process and/or procedure exists as an unpolished Word document, a series of bullet points in an email, or simply in someone's head, gathering the information needed to document it clearly. For standard processes, a focused interview of up to 60 minutes captures the essential steps without requiring more than an hour or two of your week. This information is then transformed into a structured, easy-to-follow process document that can be shared, repeated, and relied upon across your business.

Steps 3-4: Drafting, mapping, and structured reviews
Drawing on more than 20 years of technical writing experience, Processology transforms messy notes into an intuitive procedure document accompanied by a clear, visual flowchart. You receive the draft for two consolidated review rounds, with 10 working days per round to share your team's feedback so every single role and action is perfectly aligned with your actual operations.

Step 5: Polished delivery and future-ready handoff
Once approved, you receive clean, fully formatted Word and PDF files ready for staff onboarding, quality standards, or franchise operations manuals. Because you own the editable Word files, you can update them at any time - or tap into the add-on services for workflow automation consulting whenever your business scales.
